Live Example: How To Generate Infinite Topic or Article Ideas For Any Niche In Less Than 5 minutes

Do you find it difficult to come up with article ideas for your newsletter, blog or your website? Then it’s about to end now. Today I’ll show you another technique to come up with writing ideas for virtually any topic in any niche market.

A brief background… I actually wrote about this method for the subscribers of one of my membership site. It was an instant hit and I received request to further illustrate it with examples.

So here it is for everyone to use.

Free Tool You need: Google Suggest. If you are not familiar with it read about it here.

Objective: Generate Writing Ideas For Blog, Newsletter articles, Ebooks, Special reports or anything you publish online.

For purpose of this exercise I will use Ralph’s case as an example. Ralph is a cartoonist. He eats and breaths cartoon and love to talk about it.

But the problem starts when it comes to writing. He just gets stuck when it comes to writing about his passion. What should he write about? There is so much to tell but the keyboard is not his best writing inspiration.
After all he is a cartoonist not a writer!
Then one day he came to learn about Google Suggest and decided to spend some time to find whether it can help.

So he visited Google suggest and tried the first thing that came in his mind …“cartoon picture” …and here’s what Google Suggest returned.

”Hey that’s interesting!” Ralph thought. These are the pages that Google have indexed for “cartoon pictures”…That got him thinking.

“Let’s see what Google suggests about drawing cartoons”

So he typed “how to draw cartoon” and there it is…

Immediately some topic ideas hit him. For example -

* 7 Things to take  care about when you are drawing  cartoon of people
* Putting expression to the cartoon faces- Where should you start

Rephrasing his search term he typed “cartoon drawing” and hey presto !

This brought a totally different angle, topics he can write about easily and even make his website interactive.

*He can write a weekly review of the cartoon drawing software based on his
experiences.

*He can start a weekly cartoon drawing tips ….and oh he can easily turn it
to video tips by using screen capture video software like RoBoDemo. Each video will contain one specific tip and give an exercise for his subscribers to complete.

*Eventually he can turn a section of his website to an online multimedia course
for the beginners.

Ideas just started pouring out and he was smart enough to note down his ideas as he continued with the game…

Next he tried some variations of the keyword “cartoon” and typed “cartooning”

“Cartooning salary?  Hmm that rings a bell.”  Ralph thought.

“Maybe I can even develop a section and write about the most frequently sought after questions for the beginner cartoonist ….including the job scenario, salary he can expect “

Hooked, he tried now a different technique.   He typed “cartooning” and a single character with a space in between and came up with even more ideas.

For example typing  “cartooning” and “i”  with a space in between returned this:

Now that brought up a whole new set of topic ideas!

From his experience he can just write about cartooning in illustrator
and mixing this with his find (above) he can easily churn up a series of articles like:

* How to draw cartoon eyes with illustrator
* How to draw cartoon faces with illustrator and so on…

Intrigued he continued ……….. ”cartooning” space and “f” and here’s the snapshot:

”Cartooning for beginners” and  “cartooning for money”  “can something come out by mixing this two?”  Ralph mused.

But let us leave Ralph to his new findings now and turn our attention to you.
